[Question]Do you think governments should have more influence on people’s health?
[Answer]Absolutely. I strongly believe governments should introduce laws to help society reduce the amount of unhealthy foods we consume. Some countries have proposed a tax on fizzy drinks on the grounds that it will discourage people from drinking so much. Take my country by way of example, where consumption of soft drinks is incredibly high. On the other hand, we must take responsibility for our own health as well. We cannot expect politicians to do everything. At the end of the day, we are the only ones who can improve our health.

1)당연하다. 나는 강력하게 믿는데, 정부는 사회가 건강하지 않은 음식을 먹는 양을 줄이게 돕는 법을 도입해야 한다.

2)몇몇 국가들은 탄산음료에 세금을 부과해오고 있다. 이것이 사람들이 너무 많이 마시는 것을 막을 것이란 것을 근거로.

3)우리나라를 예로 들어보자. 우리나라에서는 탄산음료 소비가 엄청 높다.

4)반면에 우리가 또한 우리 자신의 건강에 책임을 저야 한다.

5)우리는 정치인들이 모든 것을 해주리라 기대할 수 없다. 결국 우리만이 스스로의 건강을 향상시킬 수 있다.
